New set of wheels, new set of problems

You may be asking yourself, "you just got this truck or so it would seem?" You'd be right, I got it today as a matter of fact. Drove it off the lot around 5:45 this afternoon. Went to the gas station and filled it up, 63.00 to be exact.

Got home and began to put my things in it and thought I'd listen to a little music while doing so, WRONG. The cd loaded easily enough but then I got a two beep from the dash and then the display read "NO DISC". So I thought I'd try to eject it again, "NO DISC".

What to do I thought. Well I ate and came back to this problem later to find that leaving the truck off for a while helped the problem along, no longer did I get "NO DISC" I could hear the unit moving around and I smiled thinking no worries. WRONG. Now the unit displayed "INITIALIZING" for what seemed an eternity.

I have given up after trying to eject it and trying to load another disk, quite unhappy with all this I know vent somewhat to you reader. I've emailed the salesman at Trucks and Trails hoping that I can depend on service after the sale. I hadn't even had the truck thirty minutes when this problem cropped up. Oddly enough, when I drove the truck the first time I loaded a CD just to be sure the unit worked, no problems. Only do these things raise their ugly heads when cash is exchanged.

I'll report my experience in getting this repaired later.

Worth Repeating...

A long habit of not thinking a thing wrong gives it a superficial appearance of being right.
